* from Francis J. Roberts' Come Away My Beloved
With Winged Feet
O My Children, the time is short. Be not as those who live for the pleasures of the moment; for all that is of the world is earthly. It shall not endure, but shall be as chaff carried away by the wind. I am aware of thy needs and shall provide in abundance, but it is for My glory and My honor, and I shall have the praise.
Thou shalt tread lightly and not allow thy feet to be ensnared in the net of undue concern for the things about thee. They are Mine, saith the Lord, even as all things are Mine, and you yourselves are Mine; and I am more interested in you than in things. Likewise, I want you to be occupied with Me rather than with My gifts. I will take care of both them and thyself. Is it not a small thing for me to do?
Be alert to my voice. Let not thine ear lose its keenness of listening. Be devoted to me with thy whole heart, and put all that is about thee into My keeping. For I have not many to whom I can speak as I have spoken to thee. Ye shall be My mouthpiece in places where there are no other voices to be heard.
Ye shall magnify My Name in a dark corner. Thou shalt praise Me in a place where others extol men. Thou shalt evidence My love and reality to those who have not as yet experienced My nearness and fellowship in the way in which you have known Me.
I have need of thee as a light to shine in dark places. I have not called thee by some fickle whim. As it is written, How shall the message go out without a messenger? I have made thee My messenger. Thou shalt go with winged feet. Thou shat not allow thy foot to be bogged down in the mire of earthly cares and riches.
Thou shalt discharge thy duties with dispatch and shalt deal in wisdom with each responsibility; but thine heart shall rest in My hand. Thy thoughts shall return to Me as the needle to the pole and as the bird to its nest. (Even as the bird that returns after migration.)
...There aren't many that the Lord can speak to as he has spoken to us. And we are not called by some fickle whim. Therefore, let's tread lightly and not allow our feet to be ensnared in the net of undue concern for the things about us; But instead, let us put our heart in His hand and let it rest there. For He shall provide in abundance for His glory and His honor and His praise.

LOVE ONLY ME
I hear your cries,
I see your tears,
I know the pain brought
by all these years
But don't forget-
Beloved sons-
I'm your Father and Savior,
I alone am One.
There is none beside me,
Not even a thought,
I'm Holy, I'm Healing,
I'm Life through the Cross.
I've commanded this, demanded this,
your life I have bought.
Through sacrifice and blood,
Salvation has been wrought.
Now see this, perceive this,
Be strengthened in this race,
Be transformed Glory to Glory,
Till We meet Face to Face.
Give Glory to God,
Thy Father, Perceive!
You are more than a champion,
My Fullness, Receive!
Unchain your Hearts,
Let your Melodies break free!
Sing new Songs!
Love only Me!

TEMPTATION
(Mt. 4:1-10)
Each temptation was the same in the wilderness: “Prove yourself! If you are who you say you are, you should be able to do this.” Jesus knew His identity was not of Himself, but came from the Father. Jesus knew His life did not come from the fact that He could turn the stone into bread, but came from the voice of the Father. His life did not come from the fact that He could jump and a legion of angels would keep Him from dashing his foot on a stone, His life came from the Father of lights. He didn’t need to prove Himself to man, the devil, Himself, and most importantly, the Father. His life came from the Father. The Father knew Him. Proving yourself and seeking validation leads to one place: worshipping Satan (Mt.4:9). Most don’t make it to the heart of the matter because they go ahead and prove themselves. But that is just another form of Satan worship. Our identity is not found in our ability, it is found in Christ alone. We do not have to prove ourselves to anyone or anything, for we have nothing to prove, except the fact that we are sinners in need of a Savior. We have nothing to prove, except there is nothing we can do to save ourselves. We have nothing to prove, except there is nothing we could do or fail to do that would cause Jesus to love us more or less. We have nothing to prove, and yet our temptation is the same as our Lord’s, “prove yourself. If you are a Spirit baptized Son of God, you should be able to do this: prove it. If you heard God, you need to prove that you heard God. Prove that you are a son of God. Prove that you can prophesy, preach or teach.” Satan does not care who you prove yourself to, just as long as you prove yourself. Jesus spent His life declaring the Father, and denying Himself. He carried His cross from the time He was born till the time we nailed him to it. His time on the cross was not just a few hours, but thirty three years. He didn’t come from Heaven to earth to prove Himself or to prove anything for that matter: He came to seek and save that which was lost. He came to bear the cross. And even as He hung there dying, the devil kept hurling accusations and temptations at Him to prove Himself. “He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.” (Mt.27:42) Jesus is our God, our Shepherd, our Validation. He alone is our proof, our ability and our identity. Let us cleave to the Rock that is greater than ourselves and like John the Baptist declare: “He that cometh after me is mightier that I, whose shoes I am not worthy to Bear.” (Mt. 3:11) And when we do, the devil will leave us and the Holy Ghost and His angels will minister unto us, for there is nothing we can prove that Jesus is not worthy of receiving the glory for.

IDOLATRY
An idol is subject to the one who forms it. There are certain characteristics that define an idol and shine the light on the idolatry that still hides in the dark places of our hearts. Here are a few things that I noticed about idolatry:
1.) The work of men’s hands
(De. 4:38; 2Ki. 19:18; Is. 37:19; Is. 44:12-20)
2.) An idol is anything fixed and formed that cannot see, hear, eat, smell, walk, talk, deliver, and most importantly, (and the reason for our love of them), they cannot command!
(Dr. 4:28; Ps. 115:4-7; Ps 135:15-17)
3.) They that make them are like them; (and idol is the reflection of the one forming it). (Ps. 135:18; Mt. 13:13-15)
4.) And just like the Nehushtan in 2 Ki. 18:1-4 (Nu. 21:4-9), we can make idols out of past deliverances!
There is more to this, and if I were to list every Scripture that related to idolatry, I’m afraid I would have to copy the entire Bible! This seems to be the theme of all the Bible: The worship of the image of God, or the worship of God Himself (Jn. 4:23-24). Here is where the rubber meets the road. The image of God is simply that; an image. Whether it’s right or wrong; good or evil, left or right, up or down; the bottom line, it is still an image. And those who worship an image of God are worshiping themselves. Or even worse, Paul said the idol is nothing, and that which is sacrificed to idols are nothing, but that they who sacrifice to idols are sacrificing to devils (1 Cr. 10:18-21). Idolatry isn’t making a god out of wood or metal, that is just the fruit of idolatry. Before the idol is framed the worship of its image is already taking place in the heart of man. I want to submit that the heart of idolatry is theologies, theories and concepts. When Paul is in Athens in Ac 17:16-20, he comes upon a town wholly given to idolatry; and they love to talk of some new thing. Paul’s gospel was another idol to them to add to their collection. Some ridiculed it, some said they would like to hear more, but their hearts were full of idolatry and Paul’s words were just more theories for them to discuss. I’m afraid this reveals the state of man, and in particular the state of the Church. We have become a theology worshiping institution instead of a God worshipping, field working, sinner saving Bride who sets the captives free from the idolatry that remains in the inside of fallen man. But we can’t help remove the speck in men’s eyes when we have a beam in our own! Lord help us. We love idols. We make idols out of everything. We can even find a way to make an idol out of anti-idol teaching. The last verse in 1 Jn. Says , “little children, keep yourselves from idols.” This comes at the end of a letter that describes in detail the anti-christ(s) position and his/their statement of faith/doubt. Don’t get me wrong, we are to have sound doctrine; but it is to be exactly that; “sound” doctrine; doctrine that is not ours but the we have “heard” from the Holy Ghost! Bottom line: an idol is anything, and I mean ANYTHING that keeps us from the awareness of the Holy Ghost and His presence. So where does this lead us? To the crucifixion!
As the learned in the Scriptures beheld the perfect image of the Messiah that they had formed with their correct interpretations of the Law, Psalms and the Prophets; As they looked intently at their perfect image of Messianic theology and doctrines and then looked at Jesus of Nazareth, they were identical! They had the Messianic prophecies down to a science and the picture their interpretations had formed not only made Jesus a potential Messiah based on the appearance of the image; The image of Messiah was like a Polaroid of Jesus Christ! So why such vehement desire to destroy Him whom the Law and Prophets had expected and longed to see? Why was the death of Christ so sure and violent? Because the image of the Messiah, no matter how much it, in every detail was the figure and exact appearance of Jesus Christ, could not hear, see, walk, handle, taste, talk or command. The Messianic image was subject to the ones who had formed it, and the image was perfect. It was right. It was an image of a Savior, a Redeemer, a good Shepherd who cares for His sheep. But no matter how right this image was, it was still subject to the ones who had formed it. This is why we killed Jesus! We killed Jesus because we can control an image, but we can’t control the living Christ. We can control our correct and precise interpretations, but we can’t control the manifestation! In order to have freedom and eternal life, you have to become subject to the One who formed you! This is not easy, for we want to have God and everything else subject to us. Even our perfect image of God because it can’t see, hear or command! We hate authority, which is why idolatry is so appealing to us. We didn’t kill Jesus because we thought He was a Messianic imposter trying to deceive us; We destroyed Him because we knew He was the One, and in order to follow Him, we would have
to destroy our image of Him.
Brothers and sisters, I know we are at the exact same place right now in our walk. Like the good king Hezekiah, we must destroy all idols; even the ones we’ve built in remembrance of past deliverance! And better yet, even our perfect image of God. We must destroy even our image of a good God who has no darkness at all and is true light. Does this mean we’re saying that this is not true anymore? Absolutely not! Again, it is the true image of Messiah that nailed Jesus Christ to the cross. This is not saying that this isn’t true, this is destroying the deaf and dumb image for submission to a hearing and talking God who has been raised from the dead and sits on the throne waiting for his sons to shed the idolatry and manifest the gospel for the restitution of all things! This is destroying the image of God’s goodness so the manifestation of God’s goodness may abound! This isn’t a theory or doctrine, this is a reality of sons and daughters who walk in submission to the Holy Ghost and declare the gospel of a risen Christ that can save, hear, talk, command, deliver and raise up your crucified flesh. Are you ready? Are you ready to sell it all? Are you ready to die? Are you ready to live without a net? To be free from the image of God we’ve created and the image of ourselves we are in bondage to living up to? Let us cast these idols into hell where they belong! But just casting the idols away is the easy part; For until we are crucified with Christ, we will rebuild more accurate idols just as Hezekiah’s son did. We must die! Are you ready to die? Today is a good day to die! Today is a good day for our flesh to be crucified so the Holy Ghost who raised Jesus from the dead can also quicken our mortal bodies (Ro. 8:11). We must die daily! We must not allow the man of sin to create perfect theologies that keep us from hearing, believing and obeying the voice of God. The voice that comes from the living God and not our idolatrous mind! Praise Jesus for the Cross! It may be foolishness to a carnal mind, but it sets all who come to the risen Lord free from the lifeless idols we worship. May this verse ring true for us all: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Ga. 2:20) Blessed be the Name of the Lord!

What More?
To them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial and a name better (and more enduring) than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off. -Isaiah 56:5
May God's blessings come upon you and overtake you through believing, receiving and releasing all that God has always already provided. Our Father is truly an always already God.
What could we possibly try to get Him to do as an encore that would top Father, God sending His Son, Jesus Christ, incarnated as man, to die on the cross for the redemption of all mankind, destroying the works of the devil, resurrecting in victory, ascending to Heaven and sending us the Comforter, the power of the
Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
To God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit be the glory, as we ascribe goodness to the Trinity.
Love you all!

Christ is every mans judge
This will absolutely set you free. Christ is every mans judge. This means a lot of things, but it means two things primarily: All that is required of me is to follow Him. And if there arises in me the need to observe someone else, His words will ring in my ear, “What is it to you if I will that he or she remains till I come? You follow Me.” (Jn. 21:22) There is a yoke that Jesus said we can do away with. He said we can take His yoke, for it is easy and His burden is light. The yoke that leads our lives in paths of destruction; the yoke that strangles us, weighs us down and drags us into bondage; is the yoke of judgment. This is a position we were never created to be in. This is reserved for One person and One person only, Jesus the Eternal Son of God. What does this mean for us? How does this effect the way we live and move and have our being? To remove this yoke is to strip us bear, for judgment is something we cling to. It is our security blanket; our place of refuge; our hiding place. “Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; You will cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.' If you remove the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger and speaking wickedness, And if you give yourself to the hungry And satisfy the desire of the afflicted, Then your light will rise in darkness And your gloom {will become} like midday. And the LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.” (Is. 58:9-11) What a promise. This life is not about us. The Christian life especially is not about us and our will; it is about the resurrection of the God of all creation, Jesus Christ. How can we have time to sit in the seat of the judge when we are sitting at the feet of Jesus? The yoke of judgment causes us to live in fear of judgment from man. And our defense is to be a judge of man. Let it all go. May we let it all go and passionately follow the Lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world and stop following our own judgments and the judgments of other men. The manifest sons of God are those who are led by the Spirit of God continually. They’re so consumed with the Spirit of Jesus and the reality of knowing him, that their ears are hanging on every Word that the Master says and have no room for idle chat or formulations of judgment about anything. This is living without a net. This is the plan of daring, of acting in the Holy Ghost as Wigglesworth puts it. This is the life of freedom that allows us to preach the Gospel of Jesus in power as unprofitable servants!

The storing of Manna is to believe that manna is a thing and not a person. Jesus said, “your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and are dead.” (Jn 6:49) Man lives by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. The Word is not a thing to hoard up and distribute as you see fit. The Word is not to be used for your pleasures and fallen desires as if it is yours. The Word is a person, not a thing. Jesus is the Word! Jesus is the Word! JESUS IS THE WORD!!! He is everlasting to everlasting! He is the Bread from heaven that gives eternal life and absolute satisfaction! He is the Eternal Spring of Living Water that springs forth into eternal life! He can’t be contained! He can’t be stored! He can’t be controlled! He is I AM, Jesus the Almighty! Believe, only believe. “I Am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” (Jn6:51) You don’t eat once and for all; you eat continually. Daily consuming the source of all life, Jesus Christ. The minute you try to gather anything beyond that which is given, it will rot and be eaten of worms. It will stink! There is no fear of losing our daily bread, for there is an everlasting source of life in the abundance of Jesus’ presence! He is our daily bread! HE IS OUR DAILY BREAD! There is no fear of forgetting, for the Spirit of Truth teaches all things daily and brings to our remembrance all things He has taught us. He, the Word by which we live, will never leave or forsake us and will be with us even to the end of the world. In the wilderness, they were to gather exactly what they needed for the day, on the day. Don’t hoard it. Don’t store it. Consume the day’s provision on the day without fear of tomorrow. Don’t ration it or it will rot. Because the Bread of Heaven was a thing to them, they thought that rationing it was acceptable. Not realizing that heavenly things are eternal and springs eternally, they tried to store that which can’t be contained in old earthly wineskins. Because of the hardness of their heart, they wanted food from the earth and treated heaven’s Bread as if it was something to satisfy their carnal desires. Jesus is present in the day on the day. Eat continually from the tree of life today without rationing it for tomorrow! Tomorrow’s manna will abundantly sustain you tomorrow. Today’s manna is only for today. Manna is not a temporal commodity that will leave you unsatisfied; Manna is Jesus himself that will fill you to overflowing!

A Carefree Christmas
“Be careful for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” - Philippians 4:6 Is there a such thing as a carefree Christmas? YES!!!! No matter how intense or trivial the appearances of problems are in our lives, we can maximize and experience the most wonderful and carefree Christmas we have ever had. Let us release the beauty of Christmas now!!
The scripture in Philippians 4:6 says to be anxious for nothing. Only through a total submissiveness of our hearts can the spirit of anxiousness be diminished, allowing the fullness of Jesus’ peace to saturate our hearts and flood our entire being. This is Christmas!! Peace, goodwill to all men!!!!
Jesus’ divine nature in our tender and submissive hearts releases His faith, His hope, His love. There is absolutely no room for anything else!!! Jesus indwelling in our hearts puts blinders on our soul’s perception of appearances. Jesus is the only reality!! Appearances are false! Only Jesus is Truth!!!
Seeking first the Kingdom and God’s righteousness (securing It in our whole-hearted acceptance of our Father, God’s goodness) releases all God’s provisions for our needs. Our Father has always, already provided all other things for us. We need only to unwrap
(cast away our misperceptions of the True nature of God) and open the box (our hearts), taking out and taking in our priceless gift of Life abundant in all areas of need. For the gift of God’s goodness always, already meets all other needs He knows we have.
The spirit of anxiety or fear is a deadly part of Satan’s strategy against us. It is a potent poison in the chemical warfare of lies and deceptions he uses against us. Let us replace our strongholds of reasoning with the high tower of God’s goodness. This is the “secret place of the Most High!!” (see Psalm 91)
Every doubt, every spoken curse, every act of disobedience, every acceptance of false (half-truths), every impurity of motive, every act of selfishness, every denial of God’s true character as revealed by Jesus Christ, opens the valve of our hearts, permitting drip after drip of Satan’s poisoning to dope us, numb us and spiritually paralyze us. Instead of the “tranquility of Jesus’ peace”, we have allowed our hearts to be tranquilized.
Satan’s poisoning allows him to use the appearances of financial pressures, family pressures, job pressures, church pressures and scheduling over-whelm to immobilize us in a suspended state of anxiety and acceptance. Do we move and have our being in a spirit of desperation or are we transformed by the Spirit of Jesus’ inspiration? Are we a product made up of natural ingredients, or are we letting and releasing the supernatural preservatives of Jesus Christ and the indwelling Holy Spirit in our lives and the lives of others? Sending blessings of a merry and peaceful Christmas! We have the “glad tidings of great joy” in us – JESUS CHRIST!!!! Hallelujah!! Praise and glory to God, our Father!!!! The message of Christmas is the message for all times – “Peace on earth, goodwill to all men!!”

Light
No man, when he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. The light of the body is the eye: therefore when your eye is single (focused on Jesus), your whole body also is full of light; but when your eye is evil (not focused on Jesus because of a hardened or half-hearted heart), your body is also full of darkness. If your body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle gives you light.
(from Luke 11:33-36)
David writes in Psalm 119: 96-105, “I have seen that everything (human and in the natural) has its limits and end (no matter how extensive, noble or excellent); but Your (God’s) commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits (into eternity). Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies (critics), for (Your words) are ever before me. I have better understanding and deeper insight than all my teachers, because Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients (the men of old), because I keep Your precepts. I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep your word. I have not turned aside from Your ordinances, for You, Yourself taught me. How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the Day Star (the Morning Star, Jesus Christ) arises in your hearts. (from 2 Peter 1:19)
Sometimes when we are needing Spiritual insight into a problem or circumstance, we allow our focus to be centered on the external appearance of the problem. We look at the circumstance through our natural eyes that only let in a limited light of understanding. The image (appearance) is inverted (distorted) and projected on the stretched retina of our natural understanding.
Our lenses focus on the problem or circumstance, and the mental processing begins. We study! We analyze! We reason! We strive to come up with our own flesh-generated solutions. We try to stay in control by using our own will and relying on our own strength. We look at all the natural angles, thus creating only refracted and broken rays of partial illumination. We examine the problem in our mental sphere of limited reasoning, rather than releasing the “Inner Light” of the Holy Spirit through the eyes of totally submissive hearts.
This is the “pure Light” that overcomes all darkness; overcomes all fear; overcomes all doubt; and overcomes all natural frustration and desperation. It is the Light of Jesus!! It is His light in our hearts that is our very life in Him. Our natural life is a mere revolving door that traps us in the appearance of the way. In essence, without Jesus’ light, we only continue to revolve and never to evolve into all that we always, already have in and through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life! None of us can come into the Father’s Illumination and Countenance; His glory and goodness, except through Jesus, His Son.
Jesus Christ is the manifestation of all that our Father, God is. Jesus’ will is God’s will. Jesus’ works in us reflect God’s works in Him. Jesus’ Light of Truth directs and protects us in every aspect of our daily walk in this life.
For us to truly “see the Light”, we must open our hearts’ eyes. We must receive the truth of Jesus’ Light embedded in the receptivity of softened hearts. This is our life! This is the Light that rules our spiritual day. John 1:4 states that in Him (Jesus Christ) was Life, and the Life was the Light of men (all mankind). Psalm 119:130 says, “The entrance of Your Word gives Light; it gives understanding to the simple.” In Genesis, chapter one, God said, “Let there be light; and there was light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.”
Jesus, Who is our Light, overcomes and dispels Satan’s darkness in our hearts and lives. No more stumbling and groping! No more squinting to see the Light! No more shadows! No more distortions!
May we only let in the Light and see through the “purity and clarity” of Jesus’ Truth in our hearts’ eyes!
May our lives be bathed in His Light!
Let there be Light!

Above the razor's edge...
'I am not above this (falling to the evils of this world)'
NOT TRUE!!! I rise as on the wings of the eagle and soar above the razor's edge. I am in this world, not of it, because of Jesus who lives in me. Yes, it's true I've fallen in the past to sin and temptations of this world. But I'm not to use the excuse that 'I'm human,' or even look at it as something that will easily ensnare me.Though a just man falleth seven times, he riseth yet again!!!! We are to constantly soar on the wings of an eagle and we are not to even know that we have fallen, because our eyes are to be focused singly on the light from above (which is within). Jesus draws us up to Himself and out of the depths of humanity and sin. But we are also to never look down. The light of the sun/Son is always above the eagle; Therefore we are to always be looking up, up, UP! With such a heart-fixed focus, we scale the heights of Kavannah and are made perfect, holy, and acceptable. What offering would you require, or else I would give it? Nothing short of EVERYTHING!!! Amen!
Hey everyone!!!
Just wanted to quote something out of THE JESUS MOOD book. It's really blessed me and I feel it is for all. Ask God to implant these words on the front of your mouth, your eyes, your mind, and your heart. We're letting God exercise our minds just as we do our bodies for health.
p. 116-117
Our true battle is not against external idols but against internal mindsets. "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Do ye look on things after the outward appearance?
2Cor. 10:3-7.
The last question in the above passage is my challenge to you. "Do ye look on things after the outward appearance?" If you do, then you are committing idolatry. Jesus said, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." John 7:24. "Righteous judgment" means that we never bow to appalling appearances, crippling circumstances, discouraging details, oppressive opinions or hopeless hearts. Rather, we penetrate through, over and beyond all appearances to see the Lord's saving purpose, powerful provision and eager posture toward every situation of need.
I don't know about you but I feel every moment Satan is trying to get me to draw a conclusion about an appearance based on what it looks like, how I feel about the situation, or my own perception of the situation apart from God. This is the lie. We're not to conclude any matter or even make a judgment call on ANY appearance. Watch out! The appearances that snare us the most are the ones where we have already judged a matter and think God is backing us. No!! We back Him, not the other way around. If there's any bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, or simply apathy toward someone, we are walking in idolatry. 1 Cor 10:13 is the famous verse about "no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man." Think about it.....the temptation common to all mankind is idolatry. Look then at verse 14 "Therefore flee from idolatry." Get it? Idolatry is the temptation of us all, to walk after our own feelings, own judgments, our own perceptions and opinions, and our own understanding.
This may be repetitive to some of us but I desperately need repetition in my life to train my spiritual senses to go ahead of my eyes, mouth and thoughts. I love you all. I hope you're all walking in the victory that
Jesus has provided for us. Victory now, today!
Love, Rita
Healing
For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord.
–Jeremiah 30:17
God has always already made us well!!!
Jesus wants and needs us, His Body to be spiritually and physically healthy, vibrantly functioning in plentitude (manifesting Him; His divine nature) individually and corporately. It is only in His plentitude that we can share the true Gospel to those who are lost, hungering, and dying in this fallen world. It is Father God’s desire that not one perish. Total health for Jesus’ body is the same as total health for each born-again believer; It is seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and releasing the manifestation of all our other needs, as well. This is the selling of all our possessions (ideas) and purchasing the field of His always already blessings.
This includes health and vitality. This is plentitude!
The Word says in Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; Who went about doing good; and healing all who were oppressed (afflicted) by Satan; for God was with Him.” Hallelujah! Father God Who is love and goodness was with Jesus, His Son, as Jesus administered and revealed His Father’s love and goodness to all who were oppressed. (selah!)
God wants us healthy and strong in all aspects of our lives. Satan desires (especially for those of the Body of Christ) that we be unhealthy, weak, demoralized, half-hearted, luke-warm, religious (ie. Pharisees), perishing for lack of knowledge (the Truth, as revealed by Jesus), accepting of his lies and ideas (wrong beliefs, half-truths), compromised, spiritually paralyzed and rendered ineffective. The Scripture says that the effectual prayers of a righteous man (from a pure heart of plentitude) avail much. Asking God for anything must originate from a repentant, circumcised, and sanctified heart. This is the call that is always already heard, and the answer that is released from within. This is the connection to the provisions God has always already provided. Hallelujah!
God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, has healed us and made us completely well. (see Isaiah 53;4-5) Jesus, through the finished work of the cross, has cleansed once and for all our temples of the infected thievery of Satan’s oppression and has restored our temples to houses of prayer. (see Mark 11:15-17) Let us receive and release from our pure hearts that it is Jesus’ will and in His completed work (Who is the manifestation of God’s will and completed work) that all have been made whole; that all have been healed. (from Matthew 8:1-3); (also, see Hebrews 4:1-4)
Why does this appear not to be the case in the Body of Christ?
Is it because God is sovereign and not to be questioned? Is it because all things are working together for good to those who love the Lord (even disasters, sickness and death)? Is it that that if God uses evil, then the evil somehow becomes divinely good? (see Isaiah 5:20-21) Is it that we accept things we don’t understand
(can’t rationalize) and profess that God’s ways are higher and not meant to be understood?
Is it that we speak curses, rather than blessings (on ourselves, as well as others)?
Is it that we have become co-dependant on each other and not totally trusting and dependant on God and the power of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in our hearts? Is it that we have operated outside of God’s sequencing and inside man’s.? Are we spiritually putting the cart (religion) before the horse (the Kingdom of God and His righteousness through Jesus, His Son); believing, obeying, receiving, releasing? Is it that through believing Satan’s lies, half-truths, and false truths about the character of God, we have diminished God’s
protection and accessed Satan’s destruction?
Are we holding on to our possessions of unblessed ideas? Could it be that we are either viewing the glass as half-empty or half-full, rather than over-flowing? Jesus said, “The thief comes for to kill, steal and destroy. But I have come that they (those who believe) might have life and have it more abundantly.” (see John 10:10)
This is plentitude! This is knowing only Jesus and Him crucified. This is the Kingdom of God!
Let us rebuke Satan’s venom of lies and deceptions, receiving and releasing Jesus’ Truth serum of plentitude through the in-dwelling Holy Spirit. Satan’s venom of false ideas poisons and spiritually paralyzes or kills. The Truth serum of Jesus’ plentitude fully fills, freeing us from the bondage of appearance, manipulation and anticipation. Instead of being doped and deadened by false ideas, let us be filled and made alive with the antidote of plentitude, building up our resistance to Satan’s thievery, murder and destruction. The more of the truth of God’s love and goodness we walk in, as revealed by the Truth, Jesus Christ, the closer we move to immunity from Satan’s oppressions and into the manifestations of the sons of God. To God be the glory; for He desires that not one perish! Praise him! Thank Him for His completed work of health
deliverance, protection and blessings!
Let us arise and sell all our possessions (ideas) and daily purchase the valuable field of plentitude, totally trusting in the love and divinity of Jesus Christ in our hearts and lives! Amen!!!
"HASTEN THE DAY"
2 Peter 3:18... but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
There is a line; two worlds if you will. On one line, you have the history and current state of the world, of mammon, with all it's kings and kingdoms rising and falling just like the waves in the ocean. This history repeats itself over and over like the seasons of the earth; the days of the week. Kingdom's rise and then they fall, and there is a continual derision of the world that is on the other side of the line. Like Peter says in the verses earlier in this chapter,
"Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation."
Mammon's world is a world that offers everything for a man to remain in it as a slave. It offers lawlessness, if you're so inclined. It offers Law, if you're so inclined. It offers God, even the correct image of God, the image of Jesus, and all things man so all can remain in his world and bring all desires, religious or otherwise, to the courts of worship and continue in self deception.
Peter also stirs us in his letter to hasten the Day of the Lord. He urges us to realize that we are not of the world that scoffs at the reality of the Gospel, but we are a bride, His Bride, and are to be pure and spotless.
Hasten the Day of the Lord?! This is a wake up call to all who are alive.
We are not of this world. We are not of the world that continues to repeat itself with deception, but are of the Truth that is longing to renew all things to the King of Kings! On the other side of this line is the Kingdom of Jesus that is complete. All things are accomplished! There is no past, present, or future; there is only I AM! This is the Kingdom of Jesus that is complete; whole; perfect; now; alive; and eternal!
“One day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day to the Lord."
What does this mean? It means we are Christians, whose duty is to grow in the Knowledge, the True Knowledge of the Son of God. There are plenty of images and doctrines of Jesus and His Kingdom, but there is only One Lord, One Father, One Savior who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords; One Spirit who is convincing the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment!
Let us hear and declare; see and do; receive and give; and Hasten the Day of the Lord! When will that Day be? It doesn't matter! Our call and commission is to follow Him and Hasten it! To come out of the world, mammon's world, and be ye separate! To not love the world or the things of it, but to continue in the Truth and the Knowledge of Christ that leads to the Marriage supper of the Lamb!
Let us today, hasten the Day of the Lord by coming out; being separate, and enjoying Him! For His desire is that all will come to Repentance! This desire becomes ours when we "Come out of her and are separate". When we delight ourselves in Him, and lean not on our own understanding that has been implanted by the fall, but are renewed by the Spirit of Jesus to do good and heal all who are oppressed by the devil, for GOD IS WITH US! Today is another day to Hasten the Day of the Lord by ceasing from our own works and entering His rest. Today is a day of wonderful things! Let us continue to walk in Him!
P.S. 2 Peter 3 is great if you get the chance to read it.
Isaiah 58:13,14 "If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly; then you shall take delight in the LORD, and I will make you ride upon the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken."
Hbr 4:9-11 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God; for whoever enters God's rest also ceases from his labors as God did from his. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, that no one fall by the same sort of disobedience.
For a few weeks now; I have heard over and over again that this is not our day.
Even now, Oct. 1, is not ours. Although we have been programmed to believe so, our day does not belong to us, it belongs to the Lord.
This is His day, not ours. This is His hour, not ours. Jesus continually says,
"take no thought." Why? "This is not your day, it's Mine. This is My Holy Day! Stop doing your work; making your plans; speaking your words!"
Oh the freedom of the Gospel! The Gospel is not ours to preach; The Gospel owns us, and is the power of God that works in us to will and to do when we, "remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy."
And here is the jolting truth; The Sabbath is today; right now. The Law binds us to it's letter so we can continue to mediate God, and His Holy Day as we see fit. The Spirit makes us a slave of Christ, so He can mediate Himself in and through us, and reconcile all things unto His good and perfect will! This only occurs when we enter the rest of God by not doing our own desires on His Holy Day; which is right now!
We are slaves to one of two masters; God or Mammon! Mammon gives us the illusion that we are our own; that we determine our destiny; and each day is a day for us to do as we please. This is the lie of lies, for we are actually empowering the man of iniquity to continue to rule as God, sitting in the Holy Temple of God, on God's Holy Day! We are slaves, but embrace our slavery, for there is the illusion that we are kings, and this deception feels so good to our flesh! But to be a slave of Christ is another matter!
We actually find ourselves when we enter into this Day of rest, from our own works and desires! We then receive His desires; for we have delighted in Him, and His nowness, and are truly led by the Spirit of Jesus! This is why in Hebrews it says to 'strive to enter this rest.'
Today is the Sabbath, remember this, and keep it Holy! Let us strive to enter this rest, and continue to remain in the Rest of God! What is the fruit of this? Life eternal. True Christianity. Jesus, actually Him being lifted up and drawing all men unto Himself, and not the image of Him that has been made by men doing their own desires. Letting go of our own, and being quickened by the Spirit of Christ! Walking in continual victory! Never being at the wrong place at the wrong time! Awaking every morning knowing not what His Holy Day holds, for it is not up to us to decide what happens; it is only up to us to keep our will locked on Him, then He will lead us; quicken us; And the works of God will be accomplished! How wonderful is this?! Let us continue in the, "Way, the Truth, and the Life", for today is all we have! I love you all; and remember the Sabbath to keep it holy, for today is that Day, the Day of the Lord! Read all of Isaiah 58 if you get the chance. It's awesome!
Today; right now; Is a moment to be aware. To be honest and present. To be a slave, a bondservant of Christ. For in this slavery we find our freedom! In this restriction, we find our ability! In this weakness, we find our strength! Right now is all we have!
To strip away all else. To look no more to tomorrow or yesterday. To not look at accomplishments or failures; Right or wrongs; Goals or gains. To stop, this very moment, and lean not on our own understanding, but to acknowledge Him! To know that the Promise is real. Is alive. Is inside! To realize we did not choose Him, but He chose us! To engage! Awake! Live! To know that we are sons and daughters; kings and priests; and slaves to no man or idea, only Jesus! Shout with a voice of triumph, for Christianity is not enslaved to man or the devil, despite their exploits!
We are Christians because of Christ, not man! We are Christians because He died, came back to life, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and placed in us the Promise of His Spirit! The Spirit that Cries Abba Daddy and convinces the world of the accomplished work of the Cross! The Spirit that leads us into all Truth and fulfills the law! Manifests the Word! Brings to life the Scriptures; till it pulses through our very being with every heartbeat! Can you feel this?!?!!!! He is alive!
All the things we've heard of from our childhood has come alive! The Gospel of Christ! The Cross of Christ is such foolishness! I'M A FOOL, THANK GOD I'M A FOOL! For the Cross is the very power of God! It is the ultimate display of the Goodness of God! It is the manifest Word! The place of completion! The place where all misconceptions of God can be cleared up. That God is not only Good in word, but in deed. That He is Good not only in Heaven, but on earth! That there is more to this life than running from God and getting what we can! That there is a life of reality! Of victory! Of assurance that we can walk in our calling. Our true name! Our blessed hope that takes us to the place that all those have labored before us to preserve!
Sing a new song to the Lord! One that has never been sung, but comes from that place. That place of awareness of THE ONE! I AM! Sing to the Lord a new song that resonates throughout the earth and shakes the heavens! Shout with a voice of victory and confidence that JESUS IS LORD! JESUS IS LORD! This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it! THIS IS TRUE! Jesus calls us Christians! Not because of any organization we're apart of; of any creed we've declared; or any prayer we've prayed; Simply because HE SAYS SO! We're Christians because of the Blood of the Lamb! Because of JESUS, THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD! How can anyone who has tasted the Truth of the Gospel neglect such a call! Let us walk worthy of our call! Let us press on toward the mark, the HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS! Today!
To know nothing but Christ and Him crucified! Why? What else is there to know?! For this encompasses the vastness and the reality of the True Nature of God! Behind theologies about God, man can hide from God; But not the Cross of Christ! For it is the manifestation of the Word of God; The doctrines of God; The Law of God; The Goodness of God!!!!! Praise God in the highest, for He is EMMANUEL; GOD WITH US! What happened on Pentecost was the beginning of the last days! Of the final performance! And we are privileged to be apart of this wonderful reality! Seeing that we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, LET US LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT; EVERY SIN THAT SO EASILY BESETS US; AND LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is alive! The Gospel of Christ is all in all! Is our call! IS OUR VERY BEING!!!!!! Glory to God in the Highest! Can you hear?!!! Can you see?!! CAN YOU FEEL THIS?!!!!! Oh how wonderful is the Gospel! We've received freely, and freely do we give! Blessed be the Name of the Lord forever and ever! Praise God; The Glory of the Lord! The Cross of Christ! The Promise that has brought us to this very day! That changes us from glory to glory; faith to faith; and transforms us into the very image of Christ! That HE IS! JESUS IS LORD! JESUS IS LORD! JESUS IS LORD!!!!!!!!!!! TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION! TODAY IS THE DAY!
Love you all
